Carl Cox’s new weekly club night held at Space in Ibiza every Tuesday is called "The Revolution Continues". In collaboration with some of the most celebrated names in the scene, Cox wants nothing less than to turn every Tuesday into an out of this world experience.
A big part of that is his commitment to pushing new talent to the frontlines with The Revolution Continues remix contests. This is your chance to remix Nicole Moudaber's forthcoming release 'Stomp That'.
Growing up in Nigeria & Lebanon, Nicole was the first person to bring dance music to the Middle East back in 1996.
“I fell in love with house music in NY back in 1989, hearing Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia” says Nicole. “Since then I’ve traveled the world chasing the best parties, from Paris to Madrid, Amsterdam, NY, LA, London, Ibiza and beyond.”
Whilst distinctly dark and driving, her recent sets blend deep techno with groovier sexy rhythms perfect for main room dance floor action.
Nicole Moudaber is a name fast making her name on the international club scene with tracks signed to labels as diverse as Plastic City, VIVa. Azuli and Yellow Tail, Nicole has won praise from house-legend Danny Tenaglia and christened ‘queen of dark house’ by John Digweed.
The winning remix will be released on Carl Cox's label Intec Digital. The winner will also receive a yearly Pro Account on Soundcloud. Runners up will receive yearly Lite Accounts on Soundcloud.
Deadline for the Nicole Moudaber Remix Contest is October 16th, 2010.
