“The Social Network” Remix Contest

THE SOCIAL NETWORK REMIX CONTEST

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have made two tracks from the score available as multitracks at the NIN remix community.

We all know that Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor is a master in plugging his music (besides attacking the music industry of course). He released instrumentals of his work, held remix contests with his community and made his music available for free, along with HD footage of NIN concerts.

You might think new things like social networking are the answer for him, but Reznor refuses. While everyone is raving about Twitter he deletes his account.

But, earlier this year Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross announced they had written the score for David Fincher's new film 'The Social Network', which is about the founding of social networking website Facebook.

With the official release date of the drama film next week, Reznor and Ross have made two tracks from the score available as multitracks at the NIN remix community. You can use the community for your entries but you have to visit Facebook for full details about this remix contest.

Grand prize will be a flight to Los Angeles (incl. accomodation) next week to meet Trent and Atticus. You'll also get to see the film opening night on 1st of October. Deadline is Tuesday, September 28th at 12pm PST. This contest is open to legal US Residents, who are 18 years or older.

Free Download
You can download a five-track EP of music from the film. Make sure you get it, it's incredible!
