FOEM: TOMY DECLERQUE REMIX CONTEST

FOEM is hosting a remix contest for Techno producer Tomy DeClerque from Izola, Slovenia. His label BluFin Records from Cologne in Germany offers you the chance to remix his track "Lowin".

Here's what the guys at FOEM had to say about it:
"The track "Lowin" is done with a lot of passion and precisely chosen elements that are techno sounding, even if the track is not "techno" some will say."

"The lead melody is taken from a sample bank cd, but of course upgraded with an additional synth and elements, so the end sound is way more rich and complex. Using the original sample would be the easy way, but Tomy likes to upgrade every simple thing to the next level."

"BluFin Records offers you a chance to show them some deeper knowledge and personal ideas about remixing a "different" techno track. Remixes finished in one day, normally sound "loopy", and this is not what they are looking for at BluFin."

"So try to be creative as much as possible, try to be innovative and try to convince them with your sound, your arrangements and most importantly, your feeling."

Prizes include a release on BluFin Records and yearly Pro/Lite SoundCloud accounts.
