Following 2008's remix competition, Mark Knight's Toolroom have teamed up with DJDownload.com once again to launch a special remix contest around his new Toolroom Knights compilation. Every person who buys a copy of the double pack CD, the individual parts of his track ‘Mannheim’ will be included. Toolroom will be releasing the track as a single in July and will put the best remixes alongside Mark’s original.
Pushing new boundaries and blurring the lines between DJ and producer, this new Toolroom Knights compilation boasts a mass of exclusive tracks written specifically for the compilation, alongside tons of unreleased tracks by label favourites Tiger Stripes, Mark Mendes and D-Formation.
Singles for the compilation include Mark’s new offerings ‘Mannheim’ and ‘Club Politics’, Funkagenda’s sublime ‘Do Geese See God’, ‘What’s Occurring’ by ‘Leaders’ Adam S, an remix of Funkagenda’s ‘Breakwater’ courtesy of Dataworx and a spanking new remix of the Leftfield classic ‘Phat Planet’ by Mark Knight & Funkagenda.
Alongside having your remix on the Toolroom Records label winners will also receive a signed copy of the album, Toolroom CD wallet, Toolroom T-Shirt and 2 VIP passes to Toolroom’s next party at Ministry Of Sound on 8th August.
If you’re up for the challenge, put your skills to the test and enter the competition! Don't forget to download Mark Knight's unreleased track 'Addition By Subtraction' in the meantime. Hey it's free!
