The new R&R world remix contest features another track by Vice, a four piece UK soul-funk-pop boy band. Their influences range from old school 80s funk through electro pop to modern day r&b soul. Artists such as Earth Wind and Fire, Jamiroqui, Justin Timberlake, Cameo, Prince, Michael Jackson, James Brown and Robin Thicke play a huge part in the melting pot of ideas Vice band members bring with them into the studio. On stage Vice put on a show based on tight harmony blocks and adlibs and heavily choreographed dance routines.
R&R World is a social networking site created to encourage the music community to come together - whether you are an artist, a music professional, a venue or music lover. They want to be a marketplace where those who create music and those who use music do business together. In a previous R&R remix contest you could already give your remix talents a go with Vice's track 'No Compromise,' this time you are invited to remix 'Let It Go.'
The best remixer wins five Prime Loops sample packs of choice, five runners up can pick one sample pack. The winning remix will possibly be released along with the single when it is officially released later this year.
Deadline is July 13th.
