Vim Cortez is a Paris (France) based producer, singer and musician sounding like what he calls "SynthFunkatero" - think 80s synth-funk, synthpop. Early Minneapolis Sound. Stevie Wonder.
He says to rarely refuse an interesting collab or project unless he's over-busy. To illustrate this, he posted a remix contest on his blog where you're asked to remix “Givin’it Up” from the SynthFunkatero EP, for a chance to win two sample sets from GoldBaby Productions and possible inclusion on a remix compilation on the Intellegenix label. Intellegenix is a Canadian label that releases club and electronic music. They are present on all the major online music stores: iTunes, Juno, Amazon, Beatport, etc..
