YOKO ONO PLASTIC ONO BAND REMIX CONTEST

The Plastic Ono Band, formed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969, is a conceptual group of artists that included Eric Clapton, Keith Moon (The Who) and the two Beatles George Harrison & Ringo Star amongst others. The band still exists and has new members including Sean Lennon, the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

Yoko Ono is no stranger to letting other people remix her music. Some of her work has been remixed by DJs like Danny Tenaglia, Felix da Housecat and Peter Rauhofer to name a few. And now it's up to you!

Create your own remix of "The Sun Is Down!" by the Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band, using as many or few of the samples from the sample pack containing the acapella tracks of Yoko's vocal, vocal effects, and loops of bass, drums, efx and Tenori-on.

The top 10 winners will receive special signed Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band prizes and will be featured on their site over the Xmas and New Year period. Deadline is November 30, 2009
