Zircon (Andrew Aversa) based in Philadelphia, is specializing in electronic music as well as music for video games, television, advertisements, and film. Recently Zircon posted details of his remix competition at the OC remix forum. You can dowload remix packs for "Mindbender" and "Warhead"; two songs from his third album "Antigravity". On February 1, 2008 Andrew will pick the best of the bunch to be featured on his next album. The winning producer(s) get a cut of the sales as well. If there are too many entries, or he simply can't decide, he'll open up the voting to the public.
Even outside of the actual contest, you're free to create and distribute your remixes, provided there's no commercial interest and you credit Zircon as the original artist.
