REMIX SHANNON HURLEY AT ACIDPLANET

I hope to introduce my music to a whole new set of listeners. Also - I am really excited about the interactive nature of remixing.

So far you have successfully self released an EP and two albums, available through CD Baby. What is your experience with selling your stuff there? Can you recommend that to others?

"I have earned almost $1,000 through CD Baby. They have done so much to help reach fans throughout the world. Not only can you sell your physical CD through them, but they also distribute your music to digital outlets as well. You automatically get released on to iTunes when you sign your record up with CD Baby. In my personal experience, about 70% of my sales have been through the digital outlets. I highly encourage artists to use them."

Your MySpace lists "For Lenore Records" as the label you release on. We couldn't find anything about it - so who is Lenore?

"'For Lenore' is one of the many band names I tossed around, back when I was considering using a different moniker. For Lenore was actually suggested by my photographer Matt Dinan (who shot both EP album
covers). For Lenore doesn't really mean anything, but I liked the mysteriousness of it, so I kept it as the name of my label and publishing company."
