LOXY & RESOUND REMIX CONTEST
With their minds in the future and roots firmly in the DnB of mid 90's golden era, Loxy & Resound have crafted an unique and uncompromising sound that takes you on a journey. Laptoprockers are host to their "Burning Shadows LP" Remix Contest, under which you can remix "Typecast".

Loxy is a London based DJ/Producer since acid house became Drum & Bass. He has played at the hottest spots on the planet and released on the most respected labels around. Resound (Ilpo Kärkkäinen) is a DJ/Producer hailing from Tampere, Finland. With his stunning releases he's making serious waves as a next generation Drum & Bass star. Resound also runs a company involved with music production and sound design. Loxy owns the Karma, X-Tinction Agenda, Cylon & X-Factor labels.

STYLES, RULES AND PRIZES
Prizes: Loxy and Resound have been hard at work for their upcoming debut album, "Burning Shadows". One winner will get his or her remix released on the mix CD of the album. Three winners of the remix contest will receive a copy of the album.
Chimera Microsynths have thrown in some prizes for you to win as well. These guys design not just the coolest, but also the best sounding synthesizers you'll ever find in a pocket size format.
They'll send a bC16 (analog VCF & VCA, DSP oscillators and EG) to the the winner and a bC8 (all DSP) to two runner ups. Thumbs up for Chimera!

- The winner must deliver a stereo and multitrack (if requested) master within 5 days of request.
- All remixes will be property of Cylon Recordings and any commercial use is prohibited without prior written consent.
- Purely non-commercial use of remixes is allowed.
- The winner of the contest must be prepared to enter a separate agreement under which his remix will be released.
