TURTLE & RHINO POWER!

Have you ever heard of the Black Rhino? Or the Turtle? Sure, these are both animals - but they're also two new products from FED Creations NV, a small company founded by two students in The Netherlands.

Tired of running around with different chargers for your cellphone, MP3 player and PSP? Due to its intelligent internal circuitry, the Turtle Charger transforms the power from four of the most common chargers into the power your other devices need.

It can power the most common electronic devices: iPod, cell phone, PSP, Nintendo DS, and most digital cameras. Unfortunately laptops can't be charged yet, but according to FED future products are in development to address this. At the moment FED is working on the launch of the Turtle Charger 'Wood' edition. This product will be almost completely biological decomposable (95%).

The Rhino is a portable charger from which can you can charge your mobile phone when you're off the road. Yes, that's right: It's charging your mobile phone without a power supply! The Rhino itself will charge within 60 seconds once you have electricity available again. Planning your next hiking trip? You'll have to wait for this one. The Rhino is still under development.

FED stands for Function-Environment-Design and that is what their business is about. "We believe that economy and ecology are closely related, and that good products and good citizenship need to go hand in hand.
