Last week in Amsterdam Commodore organized a press event to kick off the launch of CommodoreWorld and Gravel products.
“It is a proud and humbling moment for Commodore to see our vision come to life,” said Commodore President & CEO Ben van Wijhe.
At the IFA last September Commodore impressed the market with announcement of their new vision and a unique business model – full integration of content (CommodoreWorld) and Wi-Fi-enabled hardware (Gravel), empowering the consumers to access free, commercial and personal content whenever and wherever they want it, wirelessly.
Commodore Chief Marketing Officer Waheed Bhatti re-emphasized Commodore’s ambition: “We have taken upon ourselves to change the way consumers access, personalize, experience and share the content. We are removing all barriers between people, devices, content and geographies. We will make downloading independent of PC’s. And make recording obsolete”. CommodoreWorld is an online media environment that provides access to a large variety of entertainment content (music, videos, games, favorite radio and TV programs, and more). The CommodoreWorld catalogue can be accessed on demand via the new range of Commodore Gravel devices.
The Commodore Gravel devices come in two flavors: One for the on road and one for on the couch.
The Gravel In Pocket is a a handy, user-friendly multimedia device you can slip into your pocket or purse.
Wherever you are – on your way to work, on vacation, on a business trip, in the car – the music and movie player gives you direct Wi-Fi access to your choice of media entertainment supporting all major file formats.
