DM1 has been designed for a lot of instant fun. Its step sequencer smartly features posibilities of the iPad's multi-touch screen. Just turn on and off steps in your sequence with the tip of your fingers to create beats ands rhythms. The drum pad section lets you easily play and record your beats. No need to be a first-class drummer, automatic quantize does the work for you.
To tweak your creations, the mixer allows for sound mixing of your drum kits, while two effect pads let you to distort, modulate and transform your beats. Use the composer to quickly make a song with the beat patterns you have created. Just drag and drop the patterns onto the timeline.
Priced $ 5.99 DM1 is available from the App Store. A new update is expected by the end of this month. It will allow for audio export, feature new drum kits, increase the number of patterns to 24 instead of 12, and more.
