No more hooking up your Internet radio to your hi-fi speakers. The new Intempo RDi-W is a powerful iPod speaker system loaded with Internet and FM radio. Innovative design and being first to market with converging audio technology are all Intempo trademarks and the RDi-W continues this trend as it will be the only high-end iPod Speaker System on the market with integrated Internet radio. Available in a high gloss black finish, the RDi-W will be on sale from the end of September.
“Typically the first thing consumers do with an Internet radio is plug it into their hi-fi to get fantastic sound, but now with the RDi-W you don’t have to,” said Gareth Thomas, Product Manager for Intempo. “Whether you want to listen to the latest HipHop from LA, Detroit Techno or Cuban Salsa, RDi-W gives you easy access to global radio in hi-fi quality sound.”
The RDi-W is a hefty mains powered 30watt speaker and an integrated subwoofer for a bass-rich, room filling sound and when it comes to how you want to listen to your music you’ll be spoilt for choice. Switch from your iPod to Internet radio and you’ll have over 20,000 global stations and podcasts from around the world at your fingertips. So it’s just as well we’ve added 20 presets to save your favourite radio stations!
Accessing Internet radio can be done via the LAN connection or wirelessly. If your signal should drop there is always good old FM as a back up!
Of course the RDi-W will also stream music from your or laptop. It also has an SD card reader and USB port for a memory stick which will play stored tunes.
