IDISCOVER KEYBOARD

From the USB turntable, the Electronic Drum Kit to their battery-powered portable PA sound system for iPod, ION unveiled their latest product at CES last week.

The iDiscover is a keyboard that transforms your iPhone or iPod Touch into a portable music production studio for mobile music creation. The keyboard consists of a 25-key, battery-powered piano keyboard workstation with dock and a custom app(lication). A benefit is that the keyboard has a USB/MIDI output so you can use it as a controller as well.

With the iPhone app you can play and record a variety of instruments. The app also features an on-screen keyboard so you can play in musical ideas anywhere you go for further perfection at a later time.

Basically you can play the keyboard and record it on your iPhone (and play it back).

The iDiscover is available from ION during Q2 2010.
