IZOTOPE RELEASES ALLOY PLUG-IN

iZotope Alloy provides key sound shaping effects for your tracks and busses, bringing them to life with six processors designed to give character to every element of your mix.

Makers of mastering plug-in Ozone, iZotope now bring Alloy to provide you with a better way of working with all essential sound shaping tools for your tracks and busses.

Offering six precision tools for mixing in one integrated system, Alloy allows you to tweak all key dynamics and sound shaping effects from a single and completely configurable interface. Giving you all the important controls directly at your fingertips Alloy offers optimized workflow features for Equalizer, Dynamics, Exciter, De-Esser, Transient Shaper and Limiter settings.

Alloy’s Exciter features Harmonic Scaling technology that lets you add gentle saturation to your tracks by emulating the sounds of tube pre-amps, tape, and other hardware devices in an innovative new way. Add more stick to a snare, make a kick drum less boomy, shape any percussive sounds with the Tansient Shaper module. Alloy’s 8-band EQ combines sonic quality with precise control and very adequate visual feedback, while its Dynamics module smartly combines the characteristics of analog and digital compressors. Tame vocal sibilance and harsh high frequencies in other instruments with Alloy’s De-Esser, and use Alloy’s Limiter module to conviently maximize loudness as you pull down the threshold.

With over 150 presets designed to give you the perfect starting point for a broad range of mixing tasks, Alloy has the potential to become one of the most versatile mixing tools in your arsenal. Existing users of iZotope's mastering plug-in Ozone can get Alloy at a special discount price until October 31, 2009.
