The Tenori-on is one of the coolest electric musical devices today. It is portable, easy to play and good for audio-visual performance.

But Kentaro Fukuchi, a researcher at Japan Science and Technology Agency, has not purchased it yet because it is expensive and at shortage in Japan.

That is the reason why he made an unplugged version of the Tenori-on called "Tenori-off".
