Porsche's first mobile phone has a fingerprint reader, which protects data via fingerprint security protection. Different fingerprints can be assigned to lock different phone functions.



 

The Porsche Design Group recently presented their first mobile phone. The P’9521 mobile phone combines sophisticated, purist design with high-quality natural materials such as aluminum and mineral glass. The new phone is cutting-edge in both design and features. For example: it has a fingerprint reader, which protects data via fingerprint security protection. Different fingerprints can be assigned to lock different phone functions.

The mobile phone's case is milled from an aluminum block, the phone comes with a 2.2 inch scratch-resistant display screen. The flip-out screen rotates through 180° allowing the phone to be used also as a high-resolution 3.2MP digital camera with 2 LED lights or two flash bulbs, auto focus and digital zoom.

This stylish handset offers enhanced functionality and multimedia features with Bluetooth technology. A separate accessory pack containing the Bluetooth headset, charger adaptor, charger and leather cover, designed by Porsche will also be offered.

The P’9521 boasts of an MP3 player and three speakers for ring tones and voice playback in stereo quality sound. We know what we want for Christmas!

The P’9521 is available in Porsche Design Stores and specialist mobile-phone retailers worldwide. The mobile phone will not be sold in the US, Japan or Korea.
