British music innovator Tim Exile is back with a brand new instrument for Native Instruments' Reaktor 5. Where do we know the name Tim Exile from? Not only from his releases on labels such as Warp and Planet Mu. Of course... from his live mashup/remix of Barack Obama's inauguration speech! ;-)
His new sound controlled synthesizer THE MOUTH is the sequel to his first instrument called THE FINGER, which was used for live remixing in the studio or on stage. THE MOUTH's purpose is also to get creative in the studio but now to create unique effects on the fly from your input.
Just sing, beatbox or send a drum loop into it and it comes to life as a tweakable synthesizer, bass, vocoder or talkbox-like effect. It's that simple.
The great thing about THE MOUTH is the way it detects the pitch of an incoming audio signal. It's auto-tuned to a selected musical scale or notes from a MIDI device so your creations always stays in tune.
THE MOUTH is based on advanced REAKTOR technology, and can be used with the free REAKTOR PLAYER and in the full REAKTOR 5.5 software, both as a standalone processor and as a plug-within a DAW or music sequencer. Click the link below for more info, prizes and availability.
