Acid uses "acidized" loops and Ableton needs loops to be "warped" for seamless beatmatching. How does this work with TrakAx? This information is then used by the audio engine to time stretch the audio samples so that they play in sync. Even though the samples are stretched the audio pitch is maintained at a normal level. It is somewhat similar to Ableton's warping mechanism. The Beat Syncing is general purpose in the sense that is will also work on loops not cut quite correctly (within reason) and on polyphonic material such as a five minute mp3 song."
