Connected to a television, the newest member of Trekstor's excisting line of external harddisks can be used to play digital content immediately by simply select to play via an on-screen menu.
The "MovieStation pocket c.uc" offers a convenient way to store and transport, photos, digital film collections and music to be played with ease. Individual playback sequences can be defined for stored music files using self-created playlists. ID3 tag information is used to display details for MP3 files, such as track title and artist as well as additional information, such as the album title.
The MovieStation can play videos in MPEG-1, MPEG-2 (DVD) and MPEG-4 format (AVI: DivX3/5, Xvid) and music and audio books in MP3, WMA and WAV files. It also supports JPEG format. Data and multimedia content can be transferred from any computer via a high speed USB 2.0 interface, or directly from a memory card (SD, MMC and xD with up to 2GB storage capacity). A standard composite output allows for displaying videos as well as a high end component connection (YUV/Y/Pb/Pr). Audio signals are trans-mitted to the TV set and hi-fi system via the stereo cinch cable.
The MovieStation pocket c.uc also comes with an infrared remote control unit, power supply, AV and YUV adapter cables, a SCART adapter, software CD and a multilingual user guide. Capacity ranges between 160 and 500 Gigabyte.
