TRIPPY REPLAY

Italian jeans label Replay launched a new version of the augmented music app by RJDJ for Sonar festival in Barcelona which was held last week.

The new app is called Trippy Replay and you can use it for sampling, shifting, granulizing and atomizing the microphone input of your iPhone in realtime while mixing it with some other great music.

The new updated Trippy Replay app was shown at Sonar last week and featured two new scenes from the Kids on DSP ft Kirsty Hawkshaw. The two new RjDj reactive scenes ‘Replay Atlantis’ and ‘Replay Speedometer’ can be played in this app but also in the Rj Voyager iPad app.

Replay Speedometer plays realtime doppler effects, time bending sample playbacks and in realtime granular synthesised sound fragments with the nervous sounds of speed on a 168BPM timeline of drum and bass. It's fun!

Until half of August the Trippy Replay application for iPhone will be downloadable for free from Apple’s App Store. Get it while you can!
