are applying effects to an analog sound.

"With the digital guitar, you are applying effects to a digital sound. Since you are working with data instead of audio, there are many benefits. Firstly, you can interpret the data differently. You can change the sound of the digital guitar at any time. But the electric guitar will always sound, essentially, like an electric guitar.

"The data is easily modified. You can, for example, change notes after you have played them, or quantize them during playing live. With a recorded analog sound, you are stuck with what you played. Another benefit is you do not need a microphone to record.

"There is a graphical display on the digital guitar so visual feedback is better. This means you can have custom interfaces that do different things, depending on your playing style or music style."

We think it would be great to see a laptoprocker on stage using both a laptop and the MISA guitar and go crazy with it! When will the first production run be ready for shipment?

"I don't want to promise availability dates at this stage."

Do you think the MISA guitar will play an important role in the future of electronic music?

"I hope this instrument will help bands move to a more electronic sound, and if it does then I can say it will have played an important role in the future of electronic music."
